Happy new year!!

To wrap up the year, this is an update of all the stuff we have been working on, while eating chocolate and opening presents!

These changes are available now in the latest version 1.14.4.

Support for Mandolin​

My Guitar Tabs now supports Mandolin!.

This brings the total number of supported instruments up to 8!. Check the supported instruments and how to change between them in our documentation.

Support for "Ghost Notes"​

Ghost Notes are now supported. Here is how it looks like:

Improvements​

As usual, we keep working on quality of life improvements to My Guitar Tabs. Here are some highlights:

  • When deleting events between a bend up and bend-down, the value of these 2 bends will be updated to match automatically.
  • Improve the feeling of click and hover gestures by preventing default browser interactions.
  • Remove trailing slurs and slides outside of the stave.

Bugfixes​

Last but not least, lots of bugfixes. This is the most stable version of My Guitar Tabs yet:

  • Fix missing translations for error messages.
  • Fix issue when saving songs to local storage, in which some songs may fail to save.
  • Fix an issue where the keyboard would not hide in iOS.
  • Fix some editor shortcuts not working.
