Write Annotations

You have the option to add annotations over your tablature. This feature allows you to include details about how to play a specific part, lyrics, or chord names.

Annotations Example

Add Annotations

To write annotations on a song:

  1. In the editor, press on a string where you want to add the annotation.
  2. Press on the T icon over the selected strings.
  3. This will open a text input.
  4. Write your text and press Enter or press outside the input to save it.

Type your annotation

The annotation will be centered on the chord you selected, so on differently sized screens, it will always stay over the same chord.

tip

For the best experience, keep annotations simple to avoid unexpected text wrapping when viewing your song on different devices or screen orientations.

Edit and Delete Annotations

You can edit any annotation by pressing the annotation itself. This will open the text input. If you delete the text, the annotation will be removed.
